New announcement~

ok some of you might not know this, but i have officially decided to quit UNI and come out and join the working population. I've already signed a permanent contract with HSBC and will start working in the jerudong branch tommorrow onwards. everyone plz wish me luck bah.

I'm looking forward to it, hehe. I'll be doing work relating to accounting and also as licensed AH LONG (I might have to go out and meet clients and hurry them for their payments). Not sure how i feel bout the ah long part yet, it might be fun driving around and meeting ppl
(but then again, i dont like to meet ppl =.=!)

one regret that i have about working there is that i will not be able to work in borneo bulletin... i've applied for the post of proof reading (checking for spelling and grammar errors in newspapers) 3-4 months ago and they just recently gave me a feedback on it. i was thinking, to start of as a proof reader then find chance to become editor or journalist. at first i thought i could work two jobs, HSBC in the morning, and borneo bulletin at night, but then it was stated in the HSBC contract that i cannot work partime elsewhere. so i will have to reject the borneo bulletin job for now, wouldnt wanna cause trouble now....

too bad really, it has always been a small dream of mine to work as journalist for newspapers (totally not affected from superman or spiderman comics). its just that the job seems so relaxing and at my own pace. besides, i enjoy reading and composing my own stuffs. but i dont know whether i am any good at it, so i figure i'd better stick with something stable. though, if there was any occupation that i think i will ever enjoy, it'll have to be that.

i just wish i was feeling better health wise for tommorow's 1st day at work. i joined hui's boyfriend, William, to play basketball in the morning at 6.30 and played till nearly 10. now i feel like every muscle aches and might be coming down with a fever.
